Hearken

Good Friday
Oh, that today you would hearken to his voice!
Psalm 95:7
                                            A voice of betrayal
                                            A voice of lament
                                            A voice of abandonment, affliction, forsakenness
                                            A voice of entreaty
                                            A voice of travail
                                            A voice of thirst, promise, completion
                                            Hearken to the voice of anguished love
